Even if you’ve never worked a day in your life, chances are you have at least a passing acquaintance with a hanging file. For those of us who spend our days (and sometimes nights) in an office, the hanging file is practically an extension of our fingertips. We’re constantly sorting, stuffing, flipping through and mangling those folders, wrangling them into cabinets and swearing every time one of those little plastic tabs falls off or the metal “hanger” tears through the folder and leaves everything in a sagging pile at the bottom of the cabinet. You know what we’re talking about. Well, aren’t you tired of that whole thing? Don’t you occasionally wonder if there’s a better way? We did.
